Ace Hostel (Kensington) dans London, England

Looks can be deceiving. This hostel is clean but the staff are not friendly or helpful and it is a very boring hostel. Showers are usually cold too. Ann, from Australia ~ 2nd Nov 2009

ace hostel was quite simply ace. everything you needed. nice lounge area to relax and meet other guests. 2 mins from a trian station and eash to get to. definitely be back Ciaran, from Ireland ~ 27th Oct 2009

Very modern hostel and reasonable facilities. Lockers in rooms and 8bed dorm very roomy. Unfortunately, Hot water in showers is rare, which is not so good considering the temps will only continue to get cooler. Too many school groups allowed in the hostel at the one time. great place to meet fellow travelers. don't get the martini at the bar. the beds are like slabs of concrete but if you pad your pillow with a towel or something you will sleep fine. everything seems very clean. would stay again for sure. Steffani, from USA ~ 30th Sep 2009

We loved the hostel! We were finishing up a crazy one week vacation in London and Scotland and were looking for a quiet, nice hostel close to the airport. We wanted to get out of the hustle and bustle of London so Kensington was a perfect fit. The area was beautiful and very safe. And the hostel was a perfect fit! It has a bar, hot tub, a garden, a tv, and it isn't noisy and crowded like most hostels. There are limited showers so I would suggest taking one during off peak hours. Ace Hostel is nice, in fact, it changed my opinion about hostels.. People at reception is very nice, the rooms are clean, and maybe the location is not the best, but the underground is closer. I really like it Ivonne, from Mexico ~ 6th Oct 2009

Common area was great (need free hostel wifi). Amenities were great as well. Wish the bar was open everytime I went down there before midnight. Other than that, I wouldn't think twice about booking here again. Kevin, from USA ~ 20th Sep 2009
