Not much in character, but does the job and the location is convenient for clubbing in Shinjuku and Shibuya. ariel, from USA ~ 30th Nov 2011

I do not know how to have private rooms or capsules, but the dorm and just .... a dormitory. Old, dirty looks and the bed very hard! The sheets were clean. Of course, is cheap. If you need only a bed to sleep and if you can on a table .... okay. Far from JR Stn. Gabriela, from Romania ~ 3rd Nov 2011

A good hostel overall, very friendly staff. However, they were very cheap - you even have to pay for the showers, and the dryers barely work. The common room doesn't have ac, and they don't have sponge for the dishes. Still, they're friendly, very cheap, and attract a good crowd. No regrets. Arthur, from USA ~ 13th Aug 2011

The staff was kind and helpful. There were many posted notes on the walls (in English) telling the guests what to do and what is forbidden. While the hostel its self was not dirty, unfortunately some of the guests were (I could smell it.)

Only two subway stops from Shinjuku if you missed the last train a cap wouldn't be expensive.Overall it was a fairly average hostel, but good value for the money. The dorm room was spacious, the Internet was free, but you have to pay 100yen to use the shower for 10 minutes. The staff spoke good English and were very helpful.

You can leave luggage at the front desk on the day you check out, to pick it up later, but when I came back later and the receptionist had changed, they didn't even ask for ID when I picked up my bag! So keep in mind it's possibly not the most secure option in the world :P But this being Japan, it's probably OK :D The staff were all incredibly friendly, and all spoke English well!

Held up during the Tokyo earthquake when we were on the 10th floor, so gotta give props for that. Good price, but it's an old office building, not a lot of character. Common room gets trashed by visitors, unfortunately. People, remember to clean up your mess so the staff doesn't have so much work.
