the position of the hostel is no good: 20 minutes driving from split, oin a very trafficked and noisy road where sleeping, parking, moving the car or simply crossing is dangerous and not comfortable at all. despite we reserved 2 month earlier we had to stay in a room which was different from the one we chose (they said they had some sort of technical problem). Dear Valeria, we write in our first sentence that the position is a bit out of Split city. For most of our customers this is one of the reasons to book in our hostel. We are not in the city but we have the sea just in front of the door, this is the advantage of our location. As I told, you don´t have to cross the road, you could use the underground crossing which is just 30 meters from the hostel. The new road which will go through the hills will be finished in about 2 years, until then, I can´t too much about that. Parking is a problem, this is definitely right. As most of the travelers are coming by bus, train ferry or plane it was not very important until now. But anyway, for the next year we have rent some more parking spots, so our Italian guests which are coming with two cars will have enough spots to leave their car even if they are frightened drivers :-) For the room I couldn´t change nothing in the moment when you arrived. It was an overbooking and unfortunately I didn´t recognized it early enough. The reason is technical but it would be hard to explain now. I think I gave you a very fair discount and the only difference was that you bathroom was just in front of the room and not in the room, but it was your private bathroom anyway. You had a key for the bathroom and you said it is all right for you with the discount. This winter we will change all the windows an all rooms and put in windows with very high noise isolation (triple glass). Even if the windows are not that bad, it is noisy sometimes. But with the new windows it will be quit. So perhaps you will come the next year again and it will be better for you. The first night is for free if this could make it up for you a little bit :-) I´m not joking... Cheers! Nikola

This hostel is a little bit out of the way, but a great place to get away and relax. It is a bit outside Split, but right on the sea and beautiful. Great staff and really fun people. They will bend over backwards to help you have a good stay. The rooms are also very nice, large and reasonable. Alex, from USA ~ 12th Aug 2009
