The hostel is really well located, in downtown Cairo and a few blocks away from the Nile River! I really enjoyed my stay there. The Staff is really helpful and friendly. They can help you plan trips that suit your needs. I recommend this hostel to everyone that wants to stay downtown. They suggested a really good and cheap restaurant as well, so make sure you ask for the directions to GAD as well! :) Omar, from Mexico ~ 1st Mar 2010

Dés votre arrivée, l'Hotel Alexender vous pousse pour prendre des visites privées qui sont beaucoup plus chères que dans les agences. J'ai pris cinq visites, chères, et le service est trés mauvais.Il ne faut surtout pas prendre les visites de l'hotel. J'ai aussi trouvé le personnel dormir dans mon lit. Le tourriste est une proie d'argent. Trés décevant pour les prestations en particulier les visites en voiture privée qui sont extrêment chéres par rapport aux agences de voyage en vill frederic, from France ~ 24th Dec 2009

REALLY SUPERB Air Conditioning, Free Wireless Internet, Nice Breakfast, GREAT Location, Very Kind and Helpful Staff. BOOK here and you will not regret it! My vacation wouldn't have been half as good if it weren't for the Egyptian hospitality and comfort of the Alexander. Friendly and helpful people. They also organised our tour through Egypt which included lots of visits and travel. The guides and the drivers within the tour were very helpful too.
