This is an OK place to stay. Nothing fun and no perks like breakfast or internet. The rooms are very crammed. But its clean and its in a great location in center city. Plus Venice is super expensive, so its a good deal. Just a place to crash. Polina, from USA ~ 13th Oct 2009

I was at Alloggi Gerotto Calderan for two nights, and even staying in a shared room I had a great time! The beds are nice, bathroom is clean, shower is great, no complains at all! You just have to pay attention to time restrictions, at night (for security) and during the day (for cleaning). Internet is expensive, but its still the cheapest from nearby... Excellent location for train travellers (400 m from station & Ferrovia vaporetto stops). Can leave luggage before check-in and after check-out. Internet 1 euro for 15 mins (no USB socket). Not for people who hate stairs (5 floors). Nearest vaporetto stop is Guglie (100 m), pizzeria along Rio Tera Lista Di Spagna (200 m) and cheap supermarket is Coop at 1976, Cannaregio (300 m) - ask friendly receptionist if in doubt.
