Antares Hostel dans Nice, France

originally, I booked 3 nights, but I changed my mind. that's terrible. especially, 6 mixed dormitory. the elebator is too small to get in 3 people and room is also small. I and my friend were very shocked about our hostel. the location is so so . cuz that's very easy to find(2 min from Gare), but pretty fat to beach side. I recommed that you should go first there,and decide. rather than choosing 3 or 4 nights before looking over the room and facilities like me. the only thing what ahram, from South Korea ~ 9th Nov 2009

Very close to the train station and quite clean and quiet. the only problem i had is that it IS a hotel with a few rooms in the top converted to dorms. so it wasnt very convenient for meeting other travelers. i spent 3 nights and didnt really meet anyone from the hotel.it doesnt have a hostel FEEL but is good for a place to sleep and about a 20 min walk to the water. its not set up for hostellers so no flyers and other planning tips.the FREE internet in the basement was AWESOME tho! Brilliant location. Safe and secure. Excellent staff. It´s a hotel hostel and doesn´t really have anywhere to cook, it does have fridges so you can store cold food and an area to eat. The internet computers were fantastic. I would stay here again. Fraser, from Scotland ~ 2nd Oct 2009

I had a lovely stay at the hostel, the staff was more than friendly and helpfull in any way they could. I did extend my stay from 2 to 4 days as i liked the atmosphere in there. Only the shower could do with a little renovation, but apart from that i have no complains, if i go to nice again, i will stay there again for sure. Peter, from Switzerland ~ 28th Sep 2009

Good hostel, very close to the train station. Lots of fun peoplee and free internet, but the common area was pretty quiet most of the time. It is about a fifteen minute walk to the beach in Nice, and there are two grocery stores and many restaurants right around the hostel. They also provide fridges. Good hostel. we were suprised by this hostel, we liked more as our stay went on. staff are really helpful and the outside eating area is nice. kitchen was well equipped if a little hot!!!would recommend for a cheap option in nice joanna, from England ~ 5th Sep 2009
