Nice place - simple but clean rooms and friendly staff that will order you pizza at one in the morning! Only real complaint was he walls being paper thin and having to listen to my neighbors on both sides well into the night. Not a great part of town - looks like run-down parts of DC really. Boulangerie around the corner was nice and crepes were to be had at several cafes. Real close to the metro but a long ride to get anywhere. Good value over-all though. Lacey, from USA ~ 5th Nov 2009

Stayed for 2 nights and thought it was small but fine - except that there is no sound insulation and we could hear everything going on in the surrounding rooms, including breakfast being set up at 7am two floors below us and conversations of drunken people in neighbouring rooms. Apart from that the staff are friendly and everything is fine - would recommend earplugs though. Melanie, from New Zealand ~ 12th Oct 2009

Armstrong Hotel is a very nice place to stay during your visit in Paris. The staf is always very helpful and speaks english without any problems. The cleanning is perfekt! New towels every day. There is a saftybox in the room, so you can lock your money and passport in saftey. The hostel is located near to the metro. It takes 2-3 minuttes walking to the station, and 15 minuttes to around Louvre/centrum. We would certainly stay at Armstrong Hostel again. There is a bar and breakfast Ditte, from Denmark ~ 21st Aug 2009

The distance between metro station and hotel is very short and it was a great advantage of transportation. The staff was also very helpful. Alper, from Turkey ~ 2nd Sep 2009

Great staff, locations not great but for the price you pay it was worth more. Clean and tidy and right near the metro. Would highly recommend it. Yvette, from England ~ 1st Sep 2009

The room was great, the service fine! But the location is like a ghetto.. Maximilian W., from Germany ~ 7th Aug 2009

We expected a small, boring room with shared bathroom and came to a really nice hotel room! A large double bed and a nice and clean toilet and shower where they changed our towels every day. I would recommend this hotel to everyone, it is the perfect way of staying in Paris if you don't want to spend time in the hotel, but still want a private, nice room to stay in. The only small negative thing was that it was a bit inefficiently soundproof and of course not in the middle of the city but you ca Lisa, from Sweden ~ 12th Aug 2009

We liked this hotel for many reasons: close to the metro, good security, friendly staff. The bar was quiet but we met up with other travellers at the internet cafe (free) where they let you make your own hot drinks and you can play pool. The room was clean and the lcd tv had English news channels. A good budget hotel Francis, from England ~ 30th Jul 2009
