Ville magnifique. Logement catastrophique. A éviter absolument. Crasseux, mal entretenu,... Accueil pas enthousiaste et en plus plus cher que prévu avec des raisons pas très explicites ni valables Sentiment de s'être fait floué. A été finalement l'hôtel le plus cher de notre séjour en Hollande( Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht) et le moins bien. Frederic, from France ~ 5th Jul 2009

There is always a lot of free food ready to eat, like fruits or cereals or to cook. You never know what there will be, because they buy big stocks of things, dependig on what is cheaper. The whole place was dirty. Free food is great, except for the mold on the bread, so be carefull what you actually put in your mouth. Be aware they charge 2,50 EUR for linen (old and full of stains, concider to bring your own). The beds are shaky, old and not too comfortable. There's a nightclub next to the hostel, so prepare for some noise in weekends. Good "Help yourself, do it yourself" style. Nice concept, good atmosphere. Advantages: music room, free food (breakfast, lunch, dinner), free internet, attractive prices Drawbacks: no cleaning during our stay (3 nights), except in the kitchen. Not enough bathrooms and toilets (one for a 22-people room). Few space in the bedroom. I will recommend this place for a basic and cheap stay in Utrecht. Julien, from France ~ 6th Jan 2009
