I stayed at Babushka House for 3 nights. I need to say it's one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at! To compare with, next I stayed in one of the top rated Moscow hostels and the latter was nothing close to Babushka. First of all, great value for money - and they even give you breakfast. Great standard for a hostel. The staff is really superfriendly and very helpful. The location is very good - close to the main road. Good location, value for money. But very noisy at nights from midnight, atmosphere a bit too "college like". The so-to-say "silent period" from 11pm to 7am is actually the most noisy. Sébastien, from France ~ 7th Jan 2012

Babushka is a very good hostel: clean and with a very good athmosphere. The staff is more than friendly and helpful. The hostel is located in the city center and here you geta free breakfast which is greate. Tomer, from Israel ~ 8th Oct 2011

I would specially like to thank the staff at Babushka as they were very friendly, always willing to assist and very entertaining, specifically Tanya and Sasha. I would definitely go back to stay there in the future and recommend my friends to go there too mainly becuase it was very clean, central to the busiest part of St. Petersburg and the amazing staff. The hostel is centrally located and easy to find. Staffs were friendly and passionate! The only thing is we have to walk stairs to 4/F with all carrying luggage, which is a bit tough. Yet...still a good hostel and would highly recommend to others! Katherine, from Hong Kong ~ 3rd Jul 2011
