Cinnamon Hostel dans Koetschach Mauthen, Pologne

Apparently they had a fire two weeks ago, so all corridor walls and ceilings are covered in thick black soot, and the whole place reeks of that smoke odour. They didn't even take initiative to clean up the place, and you start to wonder if they have done anything to avoid the NEXT fire (still no fire alarm system, no smoke sensors...). This place should be closed down until the fully refurbish it! As of now I would NOT recommend to stay here. Daniel, from Hungary ~ 26th Sep 2011

There was quite a party going on the night we slept at the hostel :-) The staff were very friendly and helpful (we arrived late due to a change of program and bad weather and needed directions by phone). The hostel looks just like the photos, and even if it's on a busy street there's not a lot of traffic noise as it is located in an interior court. Nicely renovated, warm colours.
