I've never slept in such an unconfortable and crapy bed. The toilets the showers and the kitchens are also terrible. The great staff and the wonderfull location could make for it (depending on your priorities) alfredo, from Italy ~ 1st Jan 2012

Location is great. The rooftop has fine views. A good hostel in winter but in the summer when travelers cram onto the rooftop in sleeping with only 2 or 3 showers/toilets, I'd avoid it then. In terms of accommodation the old city, the price is fine, and free internet access very handy. However, if you want your own room not a dorm, stay in East Jerusalem, there are 'real hotels' for the same price, ie. Capitol, with a great breakfast(included in price) a short walk to the Damascus Gate. Gregory, from Canada ~ 27th Dec 2011

We had a wonderful time in Jerusalem and your hostel was part of the reason. The only thing that I will negatively remember is that the bathrooms are not vented well and so there is a bit of a back draft into the living quarters. You'd be all big smileys if that were fixed. It is advisable to get more utensils for the kitchen, also to have anpother policy for refunds.

I'm sorry you feel that way ,but you made a reservation for 2 different rooms on the same days and you were suppose to pay for the full reservation regardless if you are staying in it or not since you booked it ,but we did cancel it for you for no charge, it was not our fault at all, you are the one who made the booking ,so i do not understand why we need to change out our cancellation policy when we already did change it for you with your reservation and saved you from paying extra for a room you booked , so i hope you understand where we are coming from and not put the blame on us for a mistake you made .
