Smack bang in the old town but above a restaurant so up about 4 flights of stairs. One of the only hostels in Zurich and can't really fault it. Worth the money. Naomi, from England ~ 4th Oct 2009

The best part about Hotel Biber is it's location - old pedestrian area. Beds are comfortable but pillows are, for all intensive purposes, inexistent. One other thing that I found strange was the fact that the reception is often closed for some reason. Free wireless and general cleanliness are definite pros! Anthony, from England ~ 13th Sep 2009

Fine hostel, the only problem is that it's weirdly located on the 1st or 2nd story of a building that looks like the back door of a restaurant when you walk in at first. It's a long climb up so if you've got heavy bags watch out. No elevator! No free b-fast either, but wi-fi was free in the common room.
