Read some negative reviews about this hotel and I had doubts about the place. Once I got there, I was very surprise to find that the negative reviews didn't apply to my standards. Small rooms, staff not very helpful, elevator out of order, no food services, very few amenities. The best thing it has going for it is location. Within walking distance of Dupont and Logan Circle bars and restaurants. Not very close to the subway though, but still walkable. Also, nice TV w/ good cable channels. This was a fantastic hostel. We stayed in a private suite for 4. Fresh towels and cleaning daily. The continental breakfast was very good. The only issue we had was the broken elevator, as we were on the fourth floor. It was a 20 minute walk to almost all the sites. I'd definitely return here if I were ever in DC again! Room was nice and of good size. Elevator was broken so had to carry our bags up/down three flights of stairs. Baggage storage not secure - they just left in in hallway - we collected with out any checks. Could certainly hear noise from pub next door (although was Easter and it did stop before to late in the night). Breakfast food was nice with good selection.
