Located centrally in Old Town = tourist area. Very friendly staff. Must have been noisy with window facing the square, though. Stuttering hot water in shower. (Not a major point, but WiFi only in reception and didn't work on my PC. There was one you could borrow, however.) Torstein, from Norway ~ 16th Jul 2009

+: Central location. Clean. Friendly stuff. Equipped place to eat. -: Fine location in the very centre turned out for us a trouble as we'd got a room with windows to the Dom Square and there was music and noise till the late night so I had 2 nights really exhausting. Really bad common computer. The most friendly receptionist sent us to a bus stop for going to the airport where buses to the airport don't stop - me and my 5-years kid were almost late for our flight. Nice hostel in the middle of Riga. You can get to a lot of sights by just taking a walk. The hostel simple but clean. You can't expect more from €9,- a night. Jotan, from Netherlands ~ 14th May 2009
