The location and facilities were great, much better than what I expected from a hostel. The staff was absolutely amazing. They were very informative and helped us by giving us a map of the area and some tips about where to go around the neighborhood. Everything was great except for the man who lives at the hostel (Chris/Dan?). Upon asking if it's okay to wake him at 9am the next morning to check out early (as instructed by a different staff member) he abruptly said, "Why don't you just check out Gregory, from USA ~ 25th Nov 2009

I enjoyed my stay at this hostel, except for the rude and unprofessional Western male who worked overnight. He got angry with me when I asked if I could check out at 11am to catch my flight and he said check out was strictly from noon to 2pm. I didn't think that checking out at 11am was an unreasonable request, but it was to him and he let me know it. The Taiwanese girls who worked there were very friendly and helpful, so it's a shame this rude employee is hurting the hostel's reputation.

I had a great time here. It is small, so there are plenty of opportunities to meet new people and everyone I met was super chill and nice. The location is right next to Shida, so if you are going to school out here, it is an ideal location. I had a great time there. Highly recommended. :-) Eileen, from USA ~ 2nd Sep 2009

I've been to a million hostels around the world and this has probably been my best hostel experience so far. Very cosy place with warm staff. Definately recommended if you stop by Taipei. Alexander, from USA ~ 19th Aug 2009

There's everything you need once you get there, even shampoo, creams, etc. Generally pretty clean, and has excellent cleanliness for a hostel, but beware if you have sensitive skin... Margaret, from Canada ~ 14th Jul 2009

I was not able to find the hostel using the directions provided on Hostels.com. I spent two hours in the rain, and in a local police station with the local police officers unable to locate the hostel using your website. Only later did it occur to me that the hostel might have its own webpage, and this provided the neccessary address information. Would have loved a chance to actually stay in this hostel. Please update the directions on hostels.com. Steven, from USA ~ 15th Jun 2009

Very Cozy and extremely friendly staff. Common area somewhat small and hostels more resembles a home rather than a hostel. Bruce, from USA ~ 5th Jun 2009
