The room was a little damp, but the staff was helpful in trying to find a solution to make it better. The location is really excellent and quiet. However, there is no common room except the aula where the breakfast is served, so there isn't really anywhere to sit and read/play a game or something lowkey like that. I have been in Euphemia from last June 18th to 22th in a private dobule room with private bathroom. The best thing about this hotel is the location, walking is not so far from some of the best places in Amsterdam: Leidseplain 5 minutes, Dam Square and Red Light Town 10-15 minutes, the street for shopping paralell to Rokin Street 5 minutes, Voldenpark and Museums area 3 minutes. Just in front of the hostel you can take the TRAM numbers 16, 24 or 25 directly to Central Station. Ignacio, from Spain ~ 23rd Jun 2009
