this hostel was dirty. there was only one bathroom for the whole hostel. the doors to the rooms were always left open. i would not stay here again Samantha, from England ~ 5th Sep 2009

Explorers house was difficult to find and way overpriced! Just staying on the couch there is $15, but you might as well sleep on the floor because all of the beds are uncomfortable/loud air matresses. Also the staff were very rude and extremely unhelpful. DO NOT BOOK HERE. I called two days before our planned stay to make a booking, and later the next day to confirm. When we showed up there was no room anywhere in the hostel, and when we called the guy who did the booking and took my credit card number (and who was located in the US somewhere) assured us not to worry, and to just wait around while he "made some calls". He only called back hours later, by which time we had decided to leave because it was too late to find anywhere else to stay. I Kate, from Canada ~ 31st Aug 2009

So dirty! I could not have a shower, you can get sick if you try!! They don't accept credit cards,and some people have to sleep in the middle of the kitchen 'coz they don't know how to manage the bookings.
