this is a great place. plenty of opportunity to meet people, clean and comfortable rooms, great location, extremely nice staff. i stayed at Home Backpackers as well and wished i could have come back here. I've stayed in a lot of hostels all throughout Europe, and never written a review. This place was the best I've stayed in. The staff was really helpful and friendly. They also enforced the quiet time, which was great! The building is small but airy. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies, and a giant table with benches adds to the family feeling of the place. I'd definitely go back again. Katrina, from USA ~ 9th Oct 2009

The staff at home were absolutely gorgeous and so, so helpful. The hostel is a really funky design and has so much character. I would stay here again any time I return to Valencia. It's fantastic! Angela, from Australia ~ 20th Oct 2009

Great location for visiting the sights and of a generally good standard. However, my room overlooked the lovely but noisy square - had trouble sleeping due to musicians at night and building work in the morning. I also didn't appreciate the couple sleeping in a single bed next to me in my supposedly triple room.Plusses were single beds not bunks, free internet, lots of charachter, cleanliness and location next to the Mercato Central and Silk Exchange. Lots of stairs! Be prepared to haul up like 8 flights of steps, especially if you actually have a suitcase... You can control the a/c which is great and lockers are the euro kind, but a decent size. Wasn't thrilled with the staff's directions/information giving. They didn't give me the best specifics on how to take the bus to get to the modern buildings (i had to stop at the tourist info center in the train station) and they told my friend that a walking tour started from the wrong plaza, so s Patricia, from USA ~ 27th Sep 2009

This hostel was fabulous all around! Also, after touring Europe for 3 weeks they had the ABSOLUTE BEST luggage security room AND they have free mini lockers in the rooms. The beds were comfy and the shared bathrooms/showers were very nice and very private. Mattea, from USA ~ 9th Sep 2009

I liked the stay @ the Youth Hostel in Valencia. The hostel is very clean, nice bed, good shower. The 'livingroom' is very colourfel and is a nice place to stay. And there were nice people staying @ the hostel. Annemarie, from Netherlands ~ 7th Sep 2009
