Comfortable location to go anywhere by public bus, clean rooms, good kitchen and friendly staff. There are no such things as shampoo or shower gel in the rooms, it is not a youth hostel, it for any age. Not bad place. Maria, from Russia ~ 27th Sep 2009

All in all, this was an excellent hostel. The staff was extremely helpful and responsive. The only minor complaint was the location--it was a slightly sketchy part of town. But that had its advantages, too--there were some great cheap restaurants. GERALD, from USA ~ 22nd Aug 2009

A unique problem is its location. This hostel is in Tenderloin. Muni bus(public transportaion) is very convinient, but this area(near ellis street) is very dangerous area.
