This was probably the best hostel I ever stayed in. It was VERY clean, the stuff was very kind , I had Wi-Fi connection even in the room. Free coffee and tea all day, free breakfast. Very clean mattresses and bedsheets. There was no need for my sleeping-bag. The stuff new everything about San Francisco and also organized inexpensive yours around the city. Extremely nice and clean hostel with great facilities. Don't let the neighborhood frighten you. As long as you mind your own business and don't stop up in the streets around the hostel, you're good. Since is on a neighborhood where there are homeless people, people should know where to walk. Also, we asked for 2 single beds before arriving and we got a single bed. We had to ask to get the beds changed. Besides that, the staying was good. Carlos, from Costa Rica ~ 12th Dec 2011

I am glad they advised us on which areas of the neighborhood to avoid. However, the security guard was not always there. Some minor complaints: The beds were very squeaky. I think the lockers are too narrow, and they should get wider ones. Ross, from USA ~ 1st Sep 2011

The hostel itself was great! Clean sheets and towels. Free bagels and juice for breakfast. Really helpful and knowlwdgeable staff. The neighbourhood is not the greatest.
