I stayed for 4 nights in January. The stuff is friendly and helpful. Thanks a lot to Nick. The hostel is situated in the central Berlin, so you don't need to take a bus if you want to visit the places of interest. The hostel is rather clean. The linen was clean and the bathrooms were clean enough. You can use the kitchen, there are everything you need to cook your meal. We where 5 travellers from Sweden in the mid and late 50´s and wehave a very pleasent stay at the Helter Skelter Hostel, very nice velcome and friendly atmosphere. Not the cleanest place but the staff were really friendly and helpful and the place had a good atmosphere. Easy to get to and is pretty central so makes it easy to get around central Berlin too. Although we booked Helter Skelter we got our room in Heart of Gold Hostel pnly one corner from Helter, but we did not mind it at all! Cool decoration, clean rooms, good breakfast, helpful staff. I can recommend it to everybody. Anita, from Hungary ~ 22nd Jun 2011
