Not many lockers and lockers are small. Some beds are fragile and the rooms can be cleaner. The people smoke on the ground floor and not good. Quite friendly staff and hostel-mates. Gordon, from Hong Kong ~ 15th Nov 2011

Hilltop is nice hostel with reasonable price and quite convenient location (right next to the red line metro). However, the room is so cold when I stayed there (end of October, 2011). HOA, from Vietnam ~ 2nd Nov 2011

The worst hostel we've stayed in. Hobos and homeless people sleeping in mixed dorms, everything is dirty and extremely smelly, no common room. There were no locks in doors so you can come in take whatever you want and go away. If you want to have good time in Washington DC spend a few extra bucks for something more clean, safer and more tourist friendly or if you`re hobo hit this hostel its for you. Si vas buscando albergue para dormir sin ser escrupuloso, este es tú sitio. Las cucarachas frecuentan la cocina y el sótano es inexplorable salvo que tengas un gran estómago.
