One of the best hostels I stayed at. The owners and staff were very friendly. I highly recommend this hostel.

This was a brilliant hostel. The owners were very friendly. We got a free beer every night and toasties are cooked every morning. Everything was also very clean and we'll definitely want to return again.

The room was too small, there were three double-beds stowed in a room of approximately 13 square metres. The room was also hot all the day, there is no airco.

Hostel Lika is a short tram ride from the town center. There is a good common room and outdoor area... but you have to clear out by 10:30pm and there is not much to do in the surrounding area. Helpful staff, clean bathrooms, good sized dorm rooms.

This hostel is not one of my favorites. I was a little put off by the signs that said (Only use drinks bought at the hostel) and the fact that they charged 100 Kona (~$22) for a load of laundry. It was also annoying that they closed the common room at 10:30pm :( The location was not far (by tram) and it seemed clean.

Very good hostel, if you want somewhere to sleep that is peaceful and quiet then this is the place. It is a bit of a walk from the train station if it is hot, but apart from that, very good!

Hostel Lika was a great place to stay...BUT the aircondition was really poor. There was an airconditioner in the corridor that worked only during the day, but no aircondition in the rooms so it was kind of sweaty and sauna-like during the night!

while the hostel was walking distance from the bus and train stations, it was a walk in the complete opposite direction of where you wanted to go. the staff was super friendly and spoke fluent english and the hostel itself was nice (although the rooms were tiny and a bit cramped). my main complaint would be that the doors opening and closing (whether its the main door, the bathroom doors, the door to the room) echo tremendously. the hallway in general has a terrible echo so it can be a bit no
