Pros: Great common space free, reliable Internet en suite bathroom was cleaned every day easy to find excellent location other guests were friendly but not overbearing Cons: Expensive no lockersthe deadbolt on our room didn't work the free breakfast consisted of bread and jam staff was prickly space in room was at a premium Didn't find it to be the hellhole some of the reviews paint it as being, but it's a lot of money for not a lot of space. OK, at least out of main season. The room was very small, and if other beds were booked it would have been very crowded. The upper bunks hand no railing or anything else that would protect you from falling down - they looked dangerous. The street was a bit nosy in the night. But the hostel breakfast was very good. Atmosphere is very good, staff were friendly and helpful. The common room is relaxing, with a big TV, sofa and enough places to sit. kitchen is quite well. But I can't say the same about the rooms. There was dropping in my room, it was raining and drops fell down in my bed. Room too small for so many beds. Anyway I enjoyed a lot. Had a fantastic time. Staff was very helpful and friendly.Our room was spotless.The location was reqlly good, near museums and shopping and cafes.However, due to its good location, it definitely got really loud at night...def bring/get ear plugs. Jessica, from USA ~ 3rd Aug 2011

Claims to have 24 hr reception, except when the night attendant locks the doors so he can sleep. He also put the breakfast, which includes milk eggs and cheese, 2 to 3 hrs before it is served. Some of the hard boiled eggs were green. The room had 6bunks crammed into a room approx 3m x 4m. The bathroom had black mold all over the place. !

Good location if you want to party. Very noisy street (impossible to sleep),very dirty and smelly toillets, nice staff.

Thank you for booking. We could have located you to more quit location to suit your needs, but you did not mention this. We clean the toilets everyday. To maintain the cleanliness of the toilets the dayly geusts need to: flush after use of the toilet, use toilet spray after use and keep up to the gentlemens agreement. Best regards hostel reception
