I had wondered how MotherTree would measure up to the great reviews. It was even better! These two young brothers have created a small, clean and very welcoming place that I would recommend to anyone! Joan, from Canada ~ 18th Feb 2009

I can highly recommend this spotless and atmospheric place to anyone looking for budget accomodation with great and friendly service. The breakfast is also the best I had in India... Fantastic!! Camilla, from Finland ~ 4th Jan 2009

Beware. Like many others we were double booked which seems a convenient re-occurrence at the Mother Tree. The hostel next door and Mother tree seem to have a deal going on. We were told we would be moving to the Mother tree every day for 3 days. The excuses were laughable - mother sick in hospital with 2 broken legs, daughter in hospoital hence staying for 1 more night etc.Very poor form. Honesty would be good for a change. Better B&B down the street. Dali, from Australia ~ 20th Dec 2008
