Jacobs Inn dans Dublin, Ireland

was suprised when i got there,it's so big!it has an elevator,toilet and shower are in the room (big plus),there really friendly and helpfull,free breakfeast is tea,coffee,juice,cereal,and bread,also good.they have lots of activities (also at the sister hostel iscaacs),free walking tours and common/tv room.would go there again. anne, from Netherlands ~ 10th Nov 2009

Possibly the best hostel I stayed at while on my trip. It was very clean and super safe. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. I felt safe leaving my valuables there. They had an amazing trio perform one night for us (don't know who those guys are but VERY talented and I loved the music) and many other activities available as well. I highly recommend this place. My friend and I have recently stayed at Jacobs Inn in Dublin, we had the best time there and would recomend it to anyone traveling through Dublin. The staff were informative, security was great and the people we met and fun that we had was the best part :) It is close to all major attractions and in walking distance of everythig. Character: One point down, you get the feeling of being in a "factory", because of the size of the hostel. But then again, with a cheerful and helpful staff. Cleanliness: I saw with my own eyes, in my room, that the sheets and pillow cover was changed on a couple of free beds, but not the quilt cover. And I wonder why? This would never fly where I come from... Still, overall: A very nice hostel. (I have stayed more than 10 times). :-) Roy Arne, from Norway ~ 17th Aug 2009
