The place is OK for Hanoi standars, is build in what seem to be an old house. It is clean, don't spect great things from it. One night we stayed in a good room and back from Halong they changed us to a room that had no walls but wood panels instead and courtains to cover them... nice try!, besides, the old quarter of the city where the hostel is located is simply a great caos and dirty. The people give you a very good service and they have a "travel agency" that arranges tours to Halong Bay and Daniel, from Peru ~ 31st Oct 2009

Excellent service! Room is spacious enough as a hostel, clean and quite, staff is so kind-hearted and friendly. They accommodate us in detail informations about puppet ticket, concert... and tour to Halong Bay, Sapa and transport to the South with very good quality. The staff were very rude and unhelpful. They didn't clean the room after our first night there. Don't exchange money at the hostel, becasue the rate there is much higher than anywhere else. Excellent services at this hotel. A great location and well worth effort to find. We met many other backpackers and there is a nice communal area. We were able to arrange our Halong Bay tour through this hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly to assist us in getting information. I will come back here next time. This is great hotel. we got lot of fun here, room is very clean, staff is friendly.The location is perfect for exploring the Old Town and all the sites. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND their tours!!!
