Knockree Hostel (Hostelling International) dans Wicklow, Ireland

It is MORE than a mile down a long windy country lane, any mobility problems or darkness it is not recommended. Buses are few and taxi's are extortionate (very very expensive). There is nothing to do in the evening unless you walk a long long way (in pitch darkness) or you have a LOT of money for a taxi or a car. Hello Ty, I'm sorry to hear you didn't find our location suitable to your needs. We've never hidden our somewhat remote location - our Directions clearly state it is a 40min. walk from the nearest busstop. Like wise the plotted Location on the Map is accurate and gives you an idea of where the hostel is; under Info we advise to bring food and distance to the nearest shop. Our location is what makes this place special - yes we're remote but that means we're away from the "hustle&bustle" too!
