As clean as it gets. Modern, high quality. Surprising, even. Staff ok, depending who you talk to. We were a family of 3, took a mixed dorm, shared it with other people and it was perfect. Somewhat noisy at times, doors banging, loud voices, even at night. Neighborhood is improving, easy access to subway. Would go again without a doubt. Martin, from Canada ~ 17th Nov 2009

Great place, very clean, affordable and accessible. The subway is near the hostel at about 2 blocks. The beds are a little bit noisy but nothing you wouldn't hear in an average bed. Free wi-fi. Also, you can get an extra locker for a good price. Oscar, from El Salvador ~ 16th Nov 2009

I and 2 friends had a room on the roof (private bathroom). Not so cheap, but worth the price : very good room, large, clean, and not too noisy. Nice view from the roof. It's in Harlem, but it did not seem too dangerous. Breakfast was ok. Hélène, from France ~ 15th Nov 2009

Good location, great prices, super clean. It's practically in Harlem so be catious if you're alone after sunset. Conveniently close to several subway lines so it's really easy and fast to get to the hostel and go anywhere from the hostel. Rooms are large. Plenty of room for everyone.
