Absolutely the best view in Oaxaca there's nothing like waking up to light clouds crowning mountains in the distance, clear skies and a wide view of the city down below. The hostel is tuckec away in a quiet, yet colorful neighborhood that gives you a true feeling of Oaxacan life. It's a short and exciting bus ride into the city and the grounds of the hostel are immaculate - the kind of place one would want to spend the day. The hostel was very friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. It provides a beautiful resort style environment, with friendly staff and cheap meals and drinks. The hostel was quiet during our stay, possibly due to the short taxi ride required to get to town. If your looking for A place to rest, relax and sit by the pool, this is a great choice! I very much enjoyed my stay at La Villada. Positioned on a hillside overlooking the city, its a short taxi ride from the centre. The staff were more than helpful and the atmosphere was very relaxed. I would recommend this hostel to travellers of any sort. David, from England ~ 20th Apr 2011
