One of the most impressive hostels I've stayed in. A friendly and helpful reception, a good location and generally clean and well-run. The breakfasts were great, especially the freshly made pancakes! The best part was the in-house dinners which were a great opportunity for good company at the end of a days sight-seeing and were tastier and better value than anything I managed to find around town. Great hostel! The rooms were all very original, although our room was a bit creepy with the giant man painted on the wall and the hand coming out of the door. The bathrooms are the best I have ever seen in a hostel. One thing though, the curtain in the bathroom on the 3rd floor is practically see-through and my roommate saw a man peeking in one time when she was doing her make-up :S. Breakfast was delicious, warm pancakes :). Free fast(Wi-fi)internet and a nice lounge area. Will come back again! Liora, from Netherlands ~ 6th Sep 2011

Wonderful place to stay. Patso's day trip to Sintra was great. Antonios food was delicious. Sophie was very helpful and super friendly. She always had a smile on her face. Everyone was just super. Would definately recommend and would love to stay here again. Tara, from USA ~ 31st May 2011
