Anyway I would like to say first that the staffs are very friendly, kind, and honest. Also, they picked me up at a station. I owe a lot to them. But there is no air-conditioner, so it was very cold at night.

I am not sure if one can call this place as a hostel, more privat room for rental :) But it was ok and the owner was very friendly!

Tian Ge and his son are bi far the most kind and welcoming people I met during my travel and my stay was really afreeable even if it lasted only one night. The only thing I did not quite like about the hostel is the total absence of heating. There were hot water and \\\"electric blanket\\\" but still, it was pretty cold in the house.

A lovely place to stay. It should really be called a homestay rather than an hostel!! Tian is a lovely host, he or his son stay at the flat all the time. You can lock the bedroom from the inside, but there is no lock on the outside when we go out. If you felt like you needed to then I'm sure you could put a pad-lock on there! Tian doesn't speak fluent english but enough to get by!! A good feel of what it is like to be in a chinese home! A short walk to the bus stop but plenty of places to eat! Tian's generosity & slice-of-local-life insight made for a most memorable homestay. This is not your run-of-the-mill "internationally homogenous" hostel as you will share space & time with Tian and his enterprising video-gaming teenage son. Note that the location is in a local residential compound away from the bus/train centers. If ok with this, you will value this stay. shao kuan, from USA ~ 12th May 2009

Arrived 11pm & the guy came to meet me at train station & took me to hostel by bus. he took me to a local shop to eat on the way - very traditional but like many food stalls not for every1. Was cheap & not a commisssion scam like Thailand. Some guest say he did not come to collect but if arrive after midnight gotta expect, is a flat wit 2 spare rooms & him & son living there. Was helpful said how to get to places which buses & the room & bathrm were good & hot water. It's a Bed & Clean : John-paul, from England ~ 20th May 2009

Ok firstly, this isn't a hostel its a guys apartment on the 7th floor of a block of flats in the middle of nowhere! There is no ensuite as is suggested. Though the owner Tiange was decent enough to pick us up from the train station and helped us organise our train ticket. The room we stayed in was large enough and clean, just don't expect to have a private shower or toilet and be prepared for a big hike up 7 flights of stairs. It's more like a homestay than a hostel, price was decent! Samuel, from Northern Ireland ~ 18th May 2009
