I saw a lot of good reviews for this place when I was choosing a hostel for our first night in Managua, so it was a no-brainer. Well, we dropped most of our stuff off in our (locked) room when we checked in and explored a little of the area. When we got back, it was obvious both of our backpacks had been rummaged through as a couple of items were left out. The employee there was the only one with access to our private room. It was a disappointing first night, and I'm just happy we had our valuab Jessica, from Canada ~ 14th Aug 2009

If I hadn't have gotten a ride, I would have never found it. I was only told one block south of Metro Shopping Center. Also, I was told how to get to the airport on the bus and the information was too general. I needed more specific information that I found as I made the trip and it is as follows: (Going to the airport from the Inn: Take the 110 bus to the Mercado Roberto Huembes. Cross the street. Go left to the corner. Turn right at the corner. Go half a block to the bus terminal. Th Starr, from USA ~ 11th Jul 2009

One of the best hostel experience I've ever had. The staff is super friendly and helpful - David, Mauricio and Gaspar especially! The place is spotless, and the floors seem like they're cleaned hourly. There are a few ants and bugs - but you can't escape them anywhere in Nicaragua. It's extremely comfortable and very well-priced. It is one of the safest hostels I've been to: only staff opens the gates and all rooms have keys. Unfortunately there have been more "guests" in the room, small ones and many of them! Also the air condition turned on only for some hours a day! Michael, from Germany ~ 17th Apr 2009

Safest hostel in the city, but you still need to be careful and not walk around alone at night. Dorm is next to a window and the outside noise (especially of partying hostelers) can be painfully loud. Night is hot. The common area and outside patio was very nice. Not perfect, but safest place to stay in the city, so worth it. Marynia, from USA ~ 11th Jan 2009

This was a nice hostel, and the owner was really helpful helping us plan the rest of our trip. Free internet was a plus, though there´s only one computer. My only gripe was that I couldn´t find a restaurant open for breakfast, althought there was a market. Anna, from USA ~ 6th Dec 2008
