Very small but clean rooms. The breakfast room got a little crowded in the mornings but food was ok (if there was some left). Price ok for NY (don't forget tax!!!), esp considering location.

Great location beside Penn St, 15 minute walk to Time Sq. No checks on who walked in and out of lobby. Area is quiet, saw no problems or hassle. Not much nightlife in the area but for the money, with breakfast, I would recommend the hostel.

Great location. Remember to bring own towels and earplugs for bearing the aircon. Breakfast on the roof is great. So is free pizza on Tuesdays.

Nasty, dirty hostel. The rooms, sheets, bathrooms, and carpets (ewwww) are ancient. I've stayed in 6 different hostels in New York, and this one was by FAR the worst. If you're desperate, stay in a 24-hour-a-day Starbucks, not this place. (Staff was great, though.)

i really like staying at this hostel it was really near to times square and empire state bulilding..people were very kind and helpful and there is also housekeeping and breakfast...i recommend this hostel for sure...
