We loved Christian at the desk. He was very sweet and helpful. Rose, from Canada ~ 3rd Nov 2009

Most stylish hostel I've ever been at! Everything looks very modern, clean. But it's not like a usual hostel, where you can meet lots of people, it's more private. The pool on the roof is very nice, when it's hot out. The kitchens on every floor are nice, there's a big TV in every one of them. The staff is friendly. Oh, and the whole hostel has air-conditioning, which I appreciated very much! Anna-Lieka, from Germany ~ 30th Sep 2009

Really nice hostel if you only consider rooms, facilities etc. Unfortunately there is no social life whatsoever. Jakob Anker, from Denmark ~ 26th Aug 2009

ATTEN FEMALE TRAVELLERS- DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOSTEL IT IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS!! This past June my two girlfriends and I stayed at the Melon Pablo District because we believed it would be a safe place to stay in Barcelona which can be notoriously dangerous. We were wrong. Barcelona was not dangerous, the staff members that worked at Melon Pablo District were the dangerous ones. On our last night there I woke up to find that the man who worked the front desk had made a key to our room and was Jovana, from Canada ~ 10th Nov 2009

It was quite OK- mainly when you think about the price and location... Just one day there was problem with electricity, but that could happen everywhere... The only bad point- the kitchen wasn´t really much equiped- I would expact much more... It isn´t fine if you even do not have a cup for coffee.. Marketa, from Czech Republic ~ 19th May 2009

The Hostel is very loud. The windows don´t close properly and you can hear everything from the street which is always very busy. Barbara, from Germany ~ 18th May 2009
