Very nice hostel. My 3 friends and I stayed 1 night in a very clean and cozy 6-dorm room. The lockers weren't very sturdy, though. Location is beautiful: quiet street near a small canal. Enjoyable 10.00 RMB Western breakfast at the Mingtowm Cafe just next door. I would go back anytime.

Best hostel I've stayed in yet! Fabulous location and the room was so cute and adorable. Staff very helpful and spoke good English. Cafe next door is trendy and serves lovely food.

Amazing hostel, amazing beds, amazing bathrooms. I loved this hostel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and it was in a great location. They even have hairdryers in every bathroom and free laundry machine.

Hostel has a lot of character and is in a great location. But adhere to the approx arrival time because when we arrived late due to transport hassles they had cancelled our booking without trying to contact us. We did still get the room we booked in the end but only after being chastised by the manager for being very naughty that we were so late! Food in cafe is a bit pricey and not paraticularly good. Wifi very slow and only 1 pc for internet access.

we stayed in a private ensuite, the bed was pretty, old Chinese style. the hostel located along an old street- lovely willows and stone bridges and a river, very good for photography lovers. you'll find independent cafes with lots of character along this lane. we loved the postcard/milk tea cafe that attached to the hostel, full of vintage toys, colourful books and postcards. the silk stockings milk tea is a must try! the only thing i must say is that it would be better if the hostel can prov Jian Ni, from Singapore ~ 3rd Aug 2009

Nice place with a beautiful building in general. Good location. Friendly staff. It would be better if it had a common room. Mark, from USA ~ 30th Apr 2009

Possibly the best hostel I've stayed at anywhere in the world. Beautiful building, clean rooms and bathrooms, great location, and kind and helpful staff. I definitely recommend staying here if you're planning on coming to Suzhou. Andrea, from USA ~ 7th Feb 2009

Six of us visited Suzhou on the 16th of Dec 2008, it was not easy for the driver to find the place because of the road work. He dropped us off at the wrong end of the street that we had to walk a long way to reach the hostel. It took a very long time for them to cook the breakfast and it was a bit expensive. Other than that, we enjoy our time there. Qianyi, from China ~ 2nd Feb 2009
