Room was okay.10 beds, but nice clean sheets, pillows and mattresses.Bathroom is ok.They do a good clean up early before everyone gets up so its clean for the morning.Area is good.Lots of grocery stores and neighborhood services.Easy access to metro and bus.Bus to Eastio du Nord for buses is right across street and drops you at the front door.Breakfast isn't included and computers take money.And I couldn't get wireless in my room, and had to go down to the rec room with lots of loud nois Owen, from USA ~ 21st Sep 2011

Even thought it's not located very near to the city center, this hostel really is a blast. The staff is always nice and kind, the rooms are kept very clean and the fun you can have there with other hostel guests is just incredible. Highly recommended!!! Henning, from Germany ~ 10th Sep 2011

This is the best hostel I've stayed in. I'm in a 10 bed mixed dorm and have NO complaints it has good lockers by the bed and air conditioning .Everything is clean, the staff is incredibly friendly and organizes group outings regularly. The place was very clean and felt very safe. Fun activites at night, the older staff were very friendly and helpful especially the Senora who cooked and did a lot of cleaning. HOWEVER the young staff were not very nice and didnt seem to into customer service YOUR WORKING IN A HOSTEL YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO BE WELCOMING AND ACCOMADATING. The front desk is suppose to be "open24hrs" but at much needed times were not there. The nice guy was the one who set up the night outings I think his name was Tiago.

Judith, our front desk is open 24 hours, but all the receptionists have anothers tasks like change paper of the bathroonms, clean the kitchen, keep the hostel in order.... Specialy during the night when everyone cook and drink and most part of the times don´t clean. We need to do everything. That´s why there´s a bell a the reception and if the receptionist is not there you press and he/she will be with you in a moment. Thanks

Near camp nou, if you want to watch El classico, recommend you very strongly. Every night guests hang out outside. Go to clubs and talk.But if you're shy person, think about it again. Very good staffs and clean! You can make friends in game room too! Jeongha, from South Korea ~ 20th Aug 2011

Party hostel. Not welcoming to anybody over 25. Staff more interested in joining the party than providing any customer service. Terrible location. A minimum 45 min to anywhere in central Barcelona. Nearly every location involves a change on the metro and the hostel is 10 min walk from the metro station. Close to the Nou Camp if you are only coming for football. Large common room but terrace closes at 10.

Hey Roger...We try to do our best to the guests. Everyone try to keep the good environment. The reception is open 24 hours and we provide all the customer services 24hs a day. We close the terrace at 10 to keep the good relationship with the neighbors. The L5 of the metro in Barcelona takes you to Sagrada Familia, La pedrera, Eixample...and the hostel is only 4 minutes walking from the metro. Thanks for your staying at Yellow Nest...see you!!!
