The location is great but we also got a room without window. There was no ventilation in the room(which was for three people form the hotel side), airconditioning yes but it's not helping when you don't get any fresh air inside. And we were there in October! There is a dog next door who barks early in the morning. This is very annoying. Even with earplugs and a pillow on my head I could hear it and it woke me up. Also, right now there is a ton of street construction so this location, which is usually good, is not so great at the moment. That will continue for two years. DUANE, from USA ~ 5th Nov 2009

We had a child and were given a 3-bd room tho we had only booked a double-bd rm for the same price. There was no hot shower, not sure if it was incidental. Hostel looks cozy, bizarre the entrance through a fruit shop in front of the Damascus Gate. Nice common area to meet people and use free internet (2 pc available). Free hot drinks. Kind of kitchen also available. Room was dirty, quite small for two and VERY VERY STINKY because of the shower drain... No breakfast. One of the cheapest accomodation in all Jerusalem.
