in the three nights that I stayed, the bathroom was not cleaned once.Shower curtain inadequate size for the shower stall in the ensuite.Insufficient cooking space for the number of people using kitchen.the cost was $60 per night because of rugby and was far surpassed by another hostel in Paraparaumu which was less than half the price - they never raised their fees.Had to pay the top rate on a non-rugby night even though I changed my reservation in advance and the bed would have been used Rosemary, from Canada ~ 4th Oct 2011

There are much better hostels in Wellington for the same price. They charge you for everything. Laundry is 2 NZD for 15 minutes, wifi 4 NZD per hour (!!!) the 10 bed dorm was better then the 6 or 8 bed dorms. because it was much bigger and more space and light. rooms can become very hot, no good air circulation. very good location at all!
