Excellent! Immaculate clean, quiet, large lockers, warm blankets (was cold).  Come prepared.. shuttle bus from train stn stops at 8pm & therefore a difficult hike up to town with luggage, esp after dark (arrive before 8pm!).  Town in small, cute, quiet & safe.  Free wifi / computer charged.  Didn't try bkfst.  Tall people make sure you get top bunk in dorms...  There was very little vertical room in my bottom.. and I am only 5ft short!   Beverly, from Canada ~ 31st Oct 2009

Miserable hostel! Bunk beds diabolical! You have to lie flat and then slide into the lower bed and you can't sit up. Not allowed even a chair in the room. Only one bath mat for the women. Not allowed an extra towel unless you pay for it. Euros 22 is too much for this miserable place. Power cut on one night so then the visa machine didn't work the next day, and the only bank machine in village gives money from visa accounts only. I would not recommend this place to anyone. A great place to stay, well placed in the middle village. However no kitchen facilities or a lounge area for relaxing in with everyone. Fran, from Australia ~ 29th Sep 2009

I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. it was one of the cleanest hostels I've stayed at, but skip their breakfast, you can get a better deal at the bakery in town. the hostel is closed from 1-3, but we were always hiking at that time and it didn't inconvenience us. there's two toilets and two showers for 8 people to share (they have separate boys and girls rooms and bathrooms). my room was full both nights we were there, but we never had trouble with crowding in our sleeping area or the bathr Vanessa, from USA ~ 25th Sep 2009

Really nice and clean hostel, big lockers in the room, nice staff. There're a lot of stairs to get to Corniglia from the train station, but once up in the village, the hostel is right in the center of the village. Only stayed one night, but I would definitely recommend it! Anna-Maja, from Sweden ~ 17th Sep 2009

Located in Corniglia, the smallest of the 5 villages, but the best in my opinion. Really small and charming village. Small hostel, but really nice. Close to everything. Once you take the shuttle to go up the hill, the hostel is right beside. Lysanne, from Canada ~ 1st Sep 2009

This was a good value for the money. Clean place to stay with security lockers. I didnt like how every day they are closed from 1-3, but I guess its the custom. However they are very nice and helpful. Tyler, from USA ~ 14th Aug 2009
