Even if its far, its a nice place to stay. The pool closed at 6 even if its write 9pm. The market is so small...they don't have lots of choice. It's still better to stay there than directly in the town... Sebastien, from Canada ~ 3rd Jun 2011

Camping Jolly has excellent cheap bungalows! AC, fridge, linen, shower with warm water and a toilet, it's all there. It's said to be a dorm, but I was by myself, although the bungalows were all booked.. (bed next to me was empty?) The tents are poor quality, if you've had a bungalow. No AC or other things (obviously) and mosquito's could freely fly in. The shared showers don't have hot water, and it's dirty. The camping is in between highways, so bring earplugs. I'd say: enjoy this c Esther, from Netherlands ~ 11th Sep 2011

It's a good place to base yourself if you're staying in Venice for awhile (we were there a week), but a bit of a trek into the city. If you take the city bus, it's about a 15 min walk to the bus stop and then a 20 min ride into the city. The other option is the camp's shuttle bus, but that costs 2.50 Euro and it takes you to a place where, in order to get to the city, you have to take a 1 Euro train. There's a BBQ, but no grill top so it was impossible to cook out (the reason we wanted to camp). Darren, from USA ~ 7th Sep 2011

The toilets were very dirty. The wc and shower were in the same place and the floor was plenty of water and mud. Avoid to have a shower in the afternoon: the water is cold. If you can choose another place you must do it. Raquel, from Spain ~ 21st Aug 2011

This is a great place to stay if you are looking to chill out for a few days and still be only 10 minutes from the canals of Venice. The pool is great and there is plenty of cheap food at the camp.I booked a three person bungalow dorm and ended up having it to myself for five days. It's a camping so you can't expect anything else! But it's a really nice camping though. We stayed in a tent for 2, it was cosy and comfortable enough. The pool is nice, the environment is fun. It's far from the island but they have a bus, which you have to book in advance, 'cause it's limited. It's a nice and cheap stay in Venice. Vitor, from Portugal ~ 23rd Aug 2011

Very far from Venice, But if you are staying more than one night I think it's worth it. I had to change my reservation around and went from 3 nights to 1 night, so it wasn't worth all the travel time. The little trailers were very nice and had A/C. You have to book a shuttle the day before to go into Venice which is really stupid... or just take the city bus, that's cheaper. 3+ nights I would recommend, and less, no. PreviouslyI had stayed in the one in Florence and it was completely different. The one in Venice turned out to be very dirty from our tent to the restroom. You were also expected to clean the public restroom if you wanted it clean. I was very disappointed in this camp. leydis, from USA ~ 27th Jul 2011

Didn't really stay at the camp site much but can't complain about it. Was in a shared tent with 3 beds, but ended up having the tent to myself. Seemed like it would be a cool place to hang around as they have their own restaurant/bar. Camp site had showers, laundry, and free wifi. Didn't really hang around the campsite though as it was 30 to 40 minutes (walk plus bus) from venice. John, from USA ~ 29th Jul 2011

The staff was perfect. The place was far from the islands of Venice but with 4 euros you could go and return with the shutle bus of the camp. We prefered the tent because was cheap which was ok generally but a litle bit cold in the night even it was on the end of july. Moreover you have to bring your own sheets. If you want to save money you should choose it. ATHINA, from Greece ~ 30th Jul 2011
