Great palce and the staff were so helpful and friendly. So I had extended my stay for another 3 days. Location is a bit inconvenient See Hiang, from Malaysia ~ 20th Mar 2009

The Hostel is so beautiful and clean. I enjoyed my time there and the Western Food upstairs in the restaurant is AMAZING! Especially when you've been deprived of it in China for awhile. Thanks for the hospitality and the friendly directions to everywhere we wanted to go

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the hostel has a great view of the city. It was very cold when I was there and the hostel is not really set up for proper heating. I was cold most of the time, wearing several layers and using 4 comforters to keep warm at night. It's a nice European beach town, but there's not a lot to do in winter. We had a nice experience at the Old Observatory. It was very cold in Qingdao during our visit, snowy on one day, but the Hostel was warm and inviting (wood burning stove in the small common area). The clean showers had plenty of hot water and the room was comfortable. Great heater! The limited English speaking staff gave good directions and were helpful. We really appreciated the free airport pick-up that they provided. The lounge would have been a great place to hang out and enjoy the cit Michael, from USA ~ 3rd Jan 2009
