This is a great place to stay. PLEASE do not let the following comments dissuade you, they're more things to point out. Great place in a great town. 1) Room next to kitchen needs a curtain. In fact, avoid this room as it's quite loud when the staff gets going in the AM. 2) The smoking area is outside of one room and kitchen - both smell like a south american bus station when smokers are doing their thing. 3) No breakfast. 4) Clear directions in hostels.com printout would help many people. Stayed at rituals for four nights and really enjoyed it. The staff were all really helpful, very personal with a small laid back vibe. Cascais is a good visit too with good beaches within walk, good bars, restaurants and great surf a 9euro cab up the road. Jeff, from Canada ~ 4th Jul 2009
