my reservation is for 2beds in dorm for 4, was full and had bed in dorm for 6(cny50)but I pd rate for dorm for 4.I return after a week and got bed in dorm for 6 and pd the correct rate so looks like book direct more reliable.Not so systematic in beds alocation some confusion and wrong bedlinen changed, I am sure it can be better. keep it up. thanks. We stayed in a female bedroom for four girls for one night, the room was nice and clean, beds comfortable, I appreciated the receptionists who were really helpful and spoke quite good English which is very rare in China. We had the double bed, it's a very big room with nice shower and toilet. Aircon and free internet in room were great! Very clean! This Hostel was quite hot and stuffy, but a great place as a stop-over heading to Hong Kong! It's right next to the bar street too!We didn't get to see much around as we got there late and left early the next morning but the city of Guangzhou seemed lively! A clean and well-kept hostel. The location on the riverside is convenient, with the ferry to downtown Guangzhou (only a few minutes away) right across the street. The staff was helpfull, without any communication problems, though not reliable where transport information is concerned. was absolutely ok... not too much character, but therefor clean. the hostel is easy to reach by metro and you can also take the ferry ... which is really convenient to get to the old town and to shamian island. guangzhou is very nice, I wished I had more time there... nico from germany Nico, from Germany ~ 7th May 2009
