On each floor there were about six or seven rooms with various beds, but only one bathroom to share with the whole floor, plus one toilet without sink. This seems too little to me. In the morning you had to queue to take a shower. The sink within the bedroom offered cold water only, so it wasn't a pleasure washing yourself there, either. Plus, despite the temperature of 20 degrees during the day, the nights were significantly colder and the blankets too thin. The rest was okay. Binja, from Germany ~ 9th Dec 2011

The Italian lady at the reception is very riendly and helpful, however the night guard is very rude and blunt. He excpects tourist to be fluent in Spanish, since they are in Spain, and he teaches people manners. Very nice location, I will stay there again. Abi Chaker, from Lebanon ~ 21st Sep 2011

Location is right next door to Alcazar and Cathedral, in a side street so pretty quiet. My room (4 beds) was located on the ground floor right next to the reception desk. Very small and very warm with no windows to the exterior so not so comfy. Ensuite bathroom was tiny, old and not so clean. There was another common bathroom in the corridor that was bigger, new and clean. Breakfast was filing but extremely basic. So overall this hostel was just average but the price quite cheap. The location was great but it was noisy at night being opposite a restaurant and cleaners washing streets as it is on the 'horse run'. One member of staff tried to be very helpful but one piece of information was way out of date. Things like hooks on the bathroom doors to hang clothes so they don't get wet, in the kitchen mugs with handles for hot drinks and better unbreakable seats on the roof terrace, these little details would make an average hostel very good.
