The environment is a bit chaotic, but the staff there are super nice and helpful. The location is definitely one the best in Dublin.

We had to sleep in an other hostel-the sinclaire- because they had not enough beds for us in our booked hostel "the shining"-they were overbooked. It was ugly, and dirty and dirty and dirty!We´ll never book them again!

Very good location but thats about it! Very expensive, only 1 key for our room so had to keep handing it back. Bathroom was off room but was quite dirty and far too cramped (couldn't sit on toilet!) All staff (except 1 girl) were very rude. Very noisy hostel when people have to walk past your window and then door at 3am just to get to their room.

Worst bed I've ever slept in, though I guess the rest of my party had okay beds. I had bruises in the morning from the springs and I think it may have had bed bugs because I also had bites. Great location, though. Easy to find because of the spire.

HOSTEL CHARACTER Is the building memorable? No! Would you recommend it to others for its originality or is it just another hostel? No! Is it evident that some degree of effort went into making the hostel look the way it does? - Does the hostel have a story to tell? No Does it have a nice atmosphere? No, hostel is closed from 11-00 till 14-00, this is very uncomphortable for guests. Common level - poor. HOSTEL SECURITY Are there safety deposit boxes for valuables no , are there lockers/storage
