Great hostel! Breakfast is awesome and it is family owned by some really great guys. You won't find a better location. Rooftop terrace is great for breakfast and evening beers. Real good, safe feel to it.

It sucked that the electricity was gone for about half of my stay, but it wasn't too bad. The terrace is a great place to drink, smoke a hooka, and socialize with fellow travelers. Great location though for walking distance of all the major sites.

Metin & his little party palace was pretty awesome. Not only was the hostel chill, his staff was fun and the breakfast was yummy. He went out of his way and took us out for a great time in Taxim. He made sure our stay in Istanbul was unforgetable.

Best hostel in istanbul!! the staff are FANTASTIC and the rooftop terrace is wonderful! i would definitely stay here next time i go to istanbul! rooms great, the bathroom we shared wasn't the cleanest but it was ok. great location!

We had a wonderfull time at the Southern Cross Hostel! The staff (Metin, Hazret and Emrah) is so cool!
I would definately choose the same hostel if I go to Istanbul again.

We had an awsome time at this hostel. Location is in the heart of the cıty and wıthin one minute walk of the top attractions. The staff are friendly, very helpfull and dıd everything that made this hostel one of the best ive ever stayed at!! The atmosphere ıs everything you would want in a hostel, waking up and eating breakfast overlookıng the sunrise on the rooftop and drınkıng beer and smokıng hubbly bubbly on the rooftop before the nıght end.....was a hıghlıght that wont be forg

Fantastic hostel. Possibly the most helpful and hospitable buch if guys working there that you could possible find. Would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the heart of Sultanahmet and not overly interested in an early nights sleep (it is very close to the local nightlife).
Brilliant place. It completely made our trip.
