The staff creates a welcoming atmosphere and are very helpful. Despite the mysterious leak in the ensuite bathroom, we lived comfortably for a week. Overall, a 2 thumbs up! Kristine, from Canada ~ 25th Aug 2009

I have mixed feelings about this hostel. It was a great time. Most of the staff was amazing. The internet hardly ever worked. The air conditioning never worked then we found out you could book some rooms with a.c. but they charged extra. Caving was more expensive at this hostel then at other hostels despite being organized by the same person with the other hostels. If it wasn't for the great, personable staff... most of which is leaving in a few months... I would have rated this much lower.
Every room has AC that works. It cost extra to use it. All you have to do is ask the staff and they can arrange anything for you. On Stormy days the internet has weak signal, this is beyond our control. Here is the link to the caving tour with prices http://barlangaszat.hu/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=23&Itemid=44 The caving tour costs 4500 EVERYWHERE!!! and thats all we charge. People if you have a problem please come to US rather then posting a complaining comment!
