The hostel isn't terribly clean, but it's fine by my standards, and the location is wonderful. The only real problem I had was that the first staff member I spoke to absolutely refused to accept my story that their A/C charge is listed as 50 NTD (he said it was 100), I had to get out my computer, show him the web pages, and listen to his sob story, until finally the owner came and very politely arranged things. I hope they've fixed this problem by now, I assume it speaks to a lack of organizat

Regarding the A/C charge, it was a mistake on our part not to have diligently updated the description part on Hostel World as well (we have now done this). However, had you booked a double room with A/C via Hostel World, the correct charge of NT$900 (NT$800 room + NT$100 A/C) would have been applied at the outset. The location was excellent and the staff were very nice and helpful. What I feel disappointed was the cleanliness because I found some cockroach in the bathroom and kitchen at night. However, if you don't care about the cleanliness, the hostel is definately a good choice for you.
