Probably the best overall hostel I've ever stayed at. Very welcoming, friendly staff. Excellent common areas. Very clean room and bathrooms. Key cards for all the doors. Good music bumping in the common room and best of all we were welcomed with a shot of black balsam liquor...as a welcome to Latvia and Riga!!! A-ok in my books!! Although I typically hate staying in dorm rooms, if I have to do it, I am glad I did it here.The rooms are large and spacious, and there are many common areas that have couches/chairs that remove the cramped feeling that typically comes with dorms.The lockers are large and can fit entire bags.Also, the hostel is very large, and can therefore accommodate those who prefer quiet - they simply stay in the quieter common areas - or those who are looking for more of a party atmosphere (which was absol Jacquelyn, from USA ~ 20th Jul 2011
